I started taking pictures early in life, taking my camera with me on most hikes to capture anything that caught my eye. I later realized that my inspiration to take pictures started early in life during my childhood seeing my grandfather having fun taking pictures at family functions followed by my mom buying a camera to also take family pictures and prepare for her trip to Austria. I borrowed her camera for a walk one day and enjoyed adding image captures to my hike. I soon afterwards purchased my own film camera, followed by slowly purchasing the different lenses I needed to get the desired perspective in my pictures.

I am a self-taught photographer who, through trial and error and lots of film, learned to make the correct settings on the camera and learned which lenses were required to capture the desired picture. I still have my film camera which is used occasionally but I have moved to the digital camera for its versatility, performance and amazing image quality.  

My photography includes many different subjects from wildlife, scenery, people, old buildings & vehicles, macros, pretty much anything that catches my eye where I can tell a story through my photograph. Friends and family have been suggesting that I should be selling my work, so in the gallery is a small sample of the many pictures I have taken. New images will be released regularly, so check back often and see if anything interests you.
